Park Lift Policy

  • New Park Building Lifts

This new lift represents a significant financial investment by all leaseholders. To protect this communal asset and avoid a recurrence of the substantial repair costs incurred by the previous lift – which were frequently due to damage caused during resident moves, resident building works, or large furniture and white goods deliveries – we are implementing a new policy for these specific activities.

To ensure the longevity of the lift and minimise future expenditure for all residents, please adhere to the following procedures when moving in/out, undertaking building works, or receiving large deliveries:

  • Compliance and Cost Recovery

Please be advised that non-compliance with these procedures will result in:

A damage assessment by the lift company, the £300 cost of this assessment will be directly charged to the flat responsible

Should any damage be identified, the associated repair costs will also be charged back to the flat responsible

Leaseholders are responsible for ensuring that their tenants, contractors, and delivery providers (large objects) comply with this policy.

These measures are being introduced as part of our ongoing commitment to effectively manage service charges and control costs for all leaseholders.
